Strengths School’s TeamGENIUS™ aims to equip, energize and empower students for effective relationships and teamwork. They will learn to identify existing and potential conflicts through their strengths lenses, as well as learn conflict management techniques. They will learn and understand the domain talent themes of their friends through facilitated discussions.

•Greater Self-Awareness for Students: When you know who you are and how you uniquely value-add to the team, you bring authenticity in the way you work and influence others – and in turn, you build an environment for those around you to be the best versions of themselves. Through learning about their domain talent themes, students will gain a deeper understanding of how they’re wired, which will empower them for greater personal development, self-leadership, and peer-leadership.

•Improved Decision Making: Students will learn about the idea that decision-making is correlated to how we used our strengths. They will learn how to make more effective decisions through a greater understanding of their domain talent themes and the Strengths-based approach. This will empower students to apply better decision making into the different arenas in their lives and deepen their leadership capacity.

•Understanding of Team Dynamics: Students will learn that everyone is unique and that they should embrace and respect the unique team dynamics of their classes. This will grow their capacity for empathy, creativity, and teamwork, in line with the values of the school.
