This compulsory core module will enable students to understand and claim their unique talent themes. They will learn how their strengths can be an incredible source of personal empowerment.

The module aims to achieve the following outcomes for students:

•Greater Self-Awareness for Students: When you know who you are and how you uniquely value-add to the team, you bring authenticity in the way you work and influence others – and in turn, you build an environment for those around you to be the best versions of themselves. Through learning about their domain talent themes, students will gain a deeper understanding of how they’re wired, which will empower them for greater personal development, self-leadership, and peer-leadership.

•Improved Decision Making: Students will learn about the idea that decision-making is correlated to how we used our strengths. They will learn how to make more effective decisions through a greater understanding of their domain talent themes and the Strengths-based approach. This will empower students to apply better decision making into the different arenas in their lives and deepen their leadership capacity.

•Stronger Relationships: Students will learn about the strengths of their peers and how these play out in their interpersonal/working styles and thought processes. This will increase class synergy and strengthen relationships between students. Students will also find positive ways to communicate with others and leverage on their strengths in their classes and CCAs.
