StrengthsFinder workshop for Singapore Tourism Board’s division

Did the very last #StrengthsFinder #workshop for #Singapore Tourism Board’s division for the year 2015

Was a great time of team-bonding and getting to understand each other on a deeper level. I shared about leadership and the importance of knowing your own strengths and the strengths of your team. Effective leaders know how to leverage and maximizer the people’s unique talents. They draw out what is already inside rather than try to put it something that is not

Their director, Poh Chi Chuan, was a very fun person to be with! Being an Activator, he enjoys the frontal-all-out-assault and the excitement of the ‘CHARGE!’. Interesting thing is that his team was made up of many having the StrengthsFinder talents of Deliberative, Achiever, Responsibility (Executing Domain). All these strengths really complement his Activator and covers the blind spots needed in forming a great all rounded team

And when it comes to facilitating, I always love the way Charissa Ee @orangefridge is able to use her Connectedness to give the participants the big picture. Her Relator gives an awesome genuineness that is unique to her. The participants don’t just see a StrengthsFinder Coach, but rather they see a sincere friend. It is my blessing to have the opportunity to work with her in impacting the generations

For the Singapore Tourism Board team, by understanding the StrengthsFinder talents & philosophy, the team was able to be more aware of the different 'lens’ they all wear and how they unintentionally might impose them on others

But when they start look through other member’s lens and intentionally leverage their strengths, the more engaged the team would be! Overall it was a great StrengthsFinder team-building session and feedback was that they were all impacted profoundly and positively!

Looking forward in bringing Singapore Tourism Board members into a place where their strengths can be an unlimited source of motivation and therefore productivity
