What makes an accountant take 2 weeks off his comfy office to do something that has no relation to his career progression, brace the hot Singapore sun and paint away on a wall that could be repainted according to the owner’s preference?.

My guess, StrengthsFinder Significance.

People with Significance want to live the biggest life, have the greatest impact and leave the longest legacy. They do this in their own unique way. Some express Significance in a quiet manner, while others loud.

I was walking along the street and saw this guy painting a large mural on a wall. He mentioned that this was a personal project and somewhat of a passion. Something that he would like to share with Singapore through his own expression - painting.

According to the StrengthsFinder Significance definition:.

Whatever your focus — and each person is distinct — your Significance StrengthsFinder theme will keep pulling you upward, away from the mediocre toward the exceptional. It is the strength that keeps you reaching. The genius of Significance talents begins and ends with the difference you are determined to make. You want the world to be a better place because you are in it.

He probably hopes that as people walk or drive past and see his murals, their lives might be a little more enriched and their day just a brushstroke brighter.

It was an amazing sight, kind of like being a cameo in “the making of” movie. We had fun, especially my kids.

My ‘3D’ daughter and son had fun feeding the 2D chickens with 1D magic seeds.
